THE BEGINNINGS IN FOOTBALL

More than ten years ago, before Slow Speed in Football was born, I had already started my journey in sports photography. I had the privilege of collaborating on campaigns for Nike, working with some of the best football players in the world. These experiences allowed me to capture unique and exciting moments with true legends of the sport.

In addition, my passion for sports photography led me to other areas, such as basketball, where I had the opportunity to portray the American national team and stars like LeBron James and Kobe Bryant. Also in tennis, I had the honour of photographing Rafael Nadal, a true sports icon.

Despite the diversity of sports I was lucky enough to cover, I felt a special attraction to football. It is a sport full of competitiveness, passion and, above all, a unique ability to unite millions of people around the world.

FC Barcelona in particular, which had a player we all admired, and I was no exception: Lionel Messi caught my attention in a unique way.

His talent and charisma were a great source of inspiration for me and motivated me to focus my photographic career on the world of football. I started to follow him closely, capturing every moment on the pitch with his Barcelona teammates.

Thus Slow Speed in Football was born, a project that seeks to capture the essence of football and the emotion that this sport generates, not only on the pitch, but also in the hearts of the fans.
